I Couldn’t Be More Pleased

“I started off writing a really long review because I wanted to cover the many great things about the Manor on Marston Lake, but who reads long reviews? So let me boil it down for you. From the flat monthly rates to the rooms to the spectacular meals (they accommodate special diets) to the attendants and medication managers to the daily activities and to the way the administration, including the owner, treat staff and residents like family, I couldn’t be more pleased with the environment or the care my mom receives. If you or a loved one need assisted living, I highly recommend the Manor on Marston Lake. Pay them a visit and you’ll see what I mean.”

Excellent Care Served with Compassion and Professionalism

“Just wanted to shout out a big thank you to The Manor On Marston Lake for taking such wonderful care of my Mother-In-Law for the last ten years. In that time it was not only her home but her family and community as well. She received excellent care served with compassion and professionalism – some of her caregivers were there as long as she was and they became family. From her comfortable room, the calming view of the lake to the Holiday dinners and parties with the families included Marston Lake certainly enriched her life. Thank You!”

We’d Recommend The Manor on Marston Lake to Any Family

“The Manor on Marston Lake’s memory care facility, “The Cottage”, has been our mother’s home for the last 3 and a half years and we could not have found a better place. Mom is cared for by a loving staff, many of whom have been at Marston since before our arrival and in a beautiful residence.

Decorated with Ralph Lauren style furnishings, the home is warm, welcoming and safe. Seeing Mom with the other residents enjoying the weekly sing a long with a smile on her face is one of the ways we know she’s well and happy. Dementia is not an easy disease, but the staff understands the illness and treats every resident with complete respect. We visited numerous nursing homes prior to making a decision and The Manor on Marston Lake is top tier in every respect and one of the finest senior living communities in the Denver Metro area.

After 3 1/2 years of seeing how they operate with our own eyes, we’d recommend The Manor on Marston Lake to any family seeking senior living for a loved one.”

They Are The Best I Have Seen

They Were Wonderful to Me and I Was Very Happy There

“When we brought my 95-yr-old mother-in-law to the Manor on Marston Lake, she was just out of rehab after repeated falls and infections and was in a wheelchair. We appreciated the warm, comfortable atmosphere, which was similar to her previous independent living facility, but we weren’t sure whether she’d be able to bounce back.

The care she received at the Manor was second to none. Staff worked closely with her during the early weeks, and their dedication and encouragement helped get her back on her feet and walking again. After 16 months at the Manor, we asked if she was ready to leave, as we were moving out of state. Now we have completed that move, she is adjusting to a new home with us, and she is able to do most of her own care again. She misses her friends at the Manor, who were like family, and she says:

“They were marvelous, all the people who worked there. They were wonderful to me and I was very happy there.”

We are deeply appreciative for the incredible staff at the Manor and the care we all received. We still miss you all!! Thanks so much.”

The Best Part of the Manor is the Staff

“My Mom has been a resident of The Manor on Marston Lake for almost a year now, and she is thriving in this environment. She has many activities to choose from each day and participates in everything with all of her new friends. She is seldom in her room.

The best part of The Manor is the staff. Everyone who works here is friendly, smiling, compassionate, caring and concerned about each resident. The staff seem to truly enjoy their relationships with the residents. And, my Mom raves about the delicious food prepared and served to her each day.

Moving my Mom to The Manor was the best decision my family made with regard to her aging needs.”

I Felt Like It Was My Mom's Home

“My Mom was a resident at The Manor for a year and a half. During that time she was treated with kindness and compassion. She told me that she was very happy and contented, and she loved all of the attention she got. As a family member, I could not have been more pleased. I liked the fact that I knew everyone there. It felt like it was my Mom’s home, rather than a facility. The owners were friendly and caring and helpful with every want and need we ever had. They truly care about their residents, and the staff members treated my Mom like she was their own family. The Manor is a place filled with love and I thank God for every single person who touched our lives while we were there. Don’t forget to spend some time in the gazebo ~ you’ll be glad you did !”

Professional and Caring

“My mother has lived at The Manor for eight months now. She moved from her home in Wyoming where she lived by herself for 23 years. She has adapted very well at The Manor. She was able to bring her cat Annie with her, which was very important to her. Although mom was very socially active in Wyoming, she truly enjoys living other people around her especially having meals together. The staff there is exceptional. They are very personable yet professional and caring. Mom participates in most of the many activities that are available to her at The Manor. The Manor’s location is also excellent, close to shopping, restaurants, her doctors and it is five minutes from my home. I am extremely thankful that my mom is living at The Manor. The owners are building a Memory Care facility next door, so if needed mom can transition right next door.”

So Many Wonderful Things!

“It is difficult to know what to say about the Manor as there are so many wonderful things! To describe the staff’s perspective on the care residents receive, a quote from Sylvia (I am not sure what her title is, but angel describes her best) sums it up the best: “You must accept people for who they are and just love them. ” And that’s just what they do!

The Manor gives such a warm family home feel, that this was the best place I could have ever chosen for my mother, who stayed there until her death last year. Their sensitivity during that time is something I will never forget and always appreciate.

“When the 1000 year flood displaced an elderly family friend, the first place I thought of was the Manor. With only one bed still available, the staff expedited welcoming her to their care. Staff retention tells it all when it comes to dedication to the care of the residents!”
